Life moves fast and families grow up quickly. Many people put off family photo sessions because they fear the impending chaos that could come with them. I’ve found that chaos usually comes from restricting and over-directing. My sessions lean towards documentary-style, where kids run free, tickle fights are prevalent and when tears happen, we wipe them off and capture life as it’s happening. Yes, we will likely get a few nice posed shots as well, but capturing your family in all of its authentic glory is the focus.
